A New, New Re-Beginning
As you may have heard, the Board of Articulate has been conducting a gradual handover to a new Board and team of volunteers in recent months. For the new Board, there has been much to learn, and many conversations about what Articulate will look like into the future. This will, no doubt, be a work-in-progress.
We are excited to embark on a new chapter for Articulate, working with those who are familiar with Articulate as well as welcoming those who are new to it. In this regard, we intend that Articulate will remain a space for those who have made it what it is, and rightly belong to its legacy, whilst also encouraging creative research project proposals.

Who selects and accepts the proposals to articulate's program?
We have an active programs team that will sit in the first week of each month to review the proposals in a collaborative, discursive way.
Pending availability, when is the latest one could submit a proposal for a particular time-period?
All projects should be confirmed at least 6 weeks in advance of the install date. See the availabilty calendar here
Is articulate able to help artist financially to achieve a show within the space?
Articulate is committed to applying for grants to support artists and will advise when these are
available. There is an upcoming Barbara Halnan Memorial Program that provides funded opportunities for mature age female artists to show at Articulate. For more information, please contact the programs team.
