Early Christian symbols with pagan influence was used to instruct, guide and give norms and guidance to communities. Use of emblems and symbolism of nationhood to identify place and community to link the clan and group and develop personal identity.

Artist profile

I have been practicing as a visual artist since graduating from the National Art School Sydney. I have exhibited in many exhibitions over the years. I was an artists in residence at the Scoula International di Graficia in Venice Italy. I have been a finalist and prize winner in the Ewart Art Prize.
I have been exploring printmaking, especially using monotypes as a form of self expression.
