It's a small part of a series of work which was exhibited in kala salon gallery in Kathmandu as a part of space A residency fellowship programme. first one is marriage ceremony of Nepal whereas in another image women cleaning her water bucket called ‘gagri’ in nepali , to take a water to her home from the natural resources as a everyday morning ritual, through this series i try to depicted the multitasking and resilience nature of women in our nepali society
Artist Bio

Sujata Khadka is a visual artist, born in Lalitpur, Nepal . She received a Bachelor of Fine arts in Studio art from Kathmandu University School of Arts, Department of art and Design in 2021. Her art practice is primarily inspired by her surroundings and patriarchal society; she is interested in working on various social issues, particularly those affecting women ; and she is not limited to a single medium, preferring to work with the various mediums . Her works were displayed in the patan Durbar Square Museum 2020 as a part of Netherland Nepal ( Ned - Nep) student collaboration program between Gerrit Rietveld Academie Art School and Kathmandu University ,School of Arts, Department of art and design. Also in Unconfined BFA Exhibition project 2021 and in Kathmandu triennial 2077 in collaboration with body and data , also in the Kala salon gallery 2024 as part of a Space A residency fellowship as well.
