My bookwork for ‘Articulate turns 14’ draws a creative connection with the radical experiments that characterised Conceptual artists’ books of the 1960s. Central to my approach is the ideal of the ‘democratic multiple’, so that copies of ‘Bookwork AT14’ are free for visitors to take away from the show.

Artist profile

I am a curator, writer and artist based in Melbourne. I have a strong interest in early 20th Century Modernism, specifically Constructivism and Bauhaus graphic design and typography, as well as Conceptual art and global conceptualism from the 1960s onwards. My curatorial work and art historical interests inform my creative practice.
