To & Fro (An instrument for mapping the cycle of perceived progress)
To & Fro explores the dynamic relationship between stability and change. The suspended pendulum-like structure embodies a tension between order and freedom, oscillating between motion and rest, capturing the constant interplay of cycles and rhythms predicted & unpredicted.
The suspended form reflects a sense progress and regress —suggesting that growth is not a linear trajectory, but rather an ongoing state of flux , inviting reflection on the cyclical nature of perceived advancement, where each swing embodies momentum back/ forth combined with inevitable pauses , reminding us that progress doesn’t run a straightforward linear path.
