Heidi Steller lives in Sydney, on Garigal county. A fascination of ancient civilisations and tribal cultures sparked the inspiration for this body of works, interpreting tribal adornments into hand built ceramic pieces.

Artist profile

A passion for sculpture led me to clay around 10 years ago as a way to create sculptural forms. The love of clay quickly took hold and with a desire for more knowledge I completed a Diploma, then Advanced Diploma in Visual Arts, Ceramics in 2019
I have exhibited my works numerous times including exhibitions at Manly Art Gallery and Museum, Kerrie Lowe Gallery, Newtown, The Incinerator, Willoughby and have been chosen as a finalist in several art prizes.
