The degradation of ecosystems has recently brought renewed focus to water management and restoration of rivers as natural and cultural heritage sites all over the world.
‘Bridge over the Guadalquivir - Cordoba’ evolved through a first-hand visit to the site and the interweaving of my own photography, screenprinting, and ink wash drawings. I’ve experimented with abstraction and ornamentation using my Epson digital printer to create new images on Somerset velvet paper.

Artist profile

A Sydney based artist with a long exhibition history with regional galleries, artist-run galleries, print workshops and artists’ collectives. Currently a member of the Ultimo Project Inc. artists collective in Marrickville, and secretary of the Print Council of Australia.
