Through drawing I explore a subjective psychological space, and reciprocally how this space evokes feeling, memory and fantasy in the viewer's participative imaginary.

Artist profile

In 1990 Sue graduated from College of Fine Art, UNSW with a Master of Art, with a majorin digital imaging. Sue Murray taught photography for over 10 years at the University of NSW, Sydney College of the Arts and NSW TAFE before leaving to develop a unique program of accessible photography for people with spinal cord injury. Sue has been exhibiting since the mid 1990’s in both group and solo exhibitions as well as undertaking commissioned projects including National Museum Canberra as well as Liverpool and Bankstown Hospitals. Sue’s artwork was purchased for the National Art School public art collection.
