It is a truism that destruction is a common human activity - waged against nature, animals and people. I have made a small gesture by turning bullets into bells in order to remind us that there is always hope…. and art….. my bells actually “ring” though the sound is faint. Please listen, think and take heart.

Artist profile

My work is environmentally engaged usually by immersion in that Heidegger sense of "being in and of the world". The aesthetic is grounded in the reductive but is informed by the imperfect with each project following its own logic regarding form and materials which carry the metaphor. I am interested in opening up spaces for thought and the phenomenological.
