I am looking for balance in many ways; through colour, form, and some engineering of tensile integrity. The uprightness of the floating structures depend on the balance of all its members.
I was born in Budapest, Hungary, and moved to Sydney when I was old enough to have an adventure on my own. I have been practising sculpture with (mostly) porcelain clay. I love listening with my eyes and hands to this most malleable of materials, letting its softness speak to me and then responding with what I have to offer it at different stages of drying.
New meaning and function is often found through the exploration of altering simple forms. I seek aesthetic and physical balance around the delicate process of shifting elements, or pushing and pulling until they again re-establish order from chaos.
