YELLOW WALK_4074, is part of a practice of random recordings of walking through places. This pedestrian mapping brings about an embodied knowledge separate to, but layered over the collective memory of others.
Annelies Jahn is a multi-disciplinary artist with a Master of Fine Art from the National Art School. Her work has been exhibited in Australia and overseas and she has had residencies in Sydney, regional NSW and Paris. She has work in the National Art School Archive and in private collections. Annelies lectures at the National Art School and has previously been a director at STACKS Projects Inc., and ES74 Gallery.

Her work investigates ideas of space, relationship and temporality, as experienced through objects and place. The contingency of these perceptions is observed via the agency of measure to become the process of art making.
