"Looking Forward, Looking Through … Future Perfect" explores the interplay of light, time, and photography, focusing on their relationship within architectural spaces to create sensory and evocative colour field photography.
Lisa Stonham has been exhibiting regularly for a decade, recent solo exhibitions include Looking Forward, Looking Through … Future Perfect at Five Walls Gallery, Melbourne (2023); Conversations with My-Self and Others at M16 Artspace, Canberra (2022); Perfect Moment … Right Now at 107 Projects, (2021).
Stonham has been a finalist in numerous art prizes including the Fisher’s Ghost Art Award; Ravenswood Australian Women’s Art Prize; Contemporary Landscape in Photography Award; Sunshine Coast Art Prize; Hurford Portrait Award; Head-On Mobile Award; Iris Award ; and the KAAF Art Prize. In 2024 she won the Perth Centre for Photography, Contemporary Landscape in Photography Award.
