'The image is the thing / the image precedes the thing' considers the way images operate as a technology to inform and shape how we understand the world, as they are iterated through the human and technological.

Artist profile

Brigitta Summers is an emerging artist living and working on Gadigal country. She works primarily in print and has recently completed a Master of Fine Arts at Sydney College of the Arts. She has exhibited around Sydney, and has been a finalist in the Libris Awards, Mackay, Queensland.
