sky so pure, shark mouth so sweet
What lies in, the heart of your sadness?

Artist profile

My work is how we absorb narratives. I use my practice like a hopeless aversion to distort real world fictions, romanticising any material or medium as a vehicle in space. For us to meet in an era of moral and ecological breakdown, I feel it's emotional resistance now that is carrying us through this crumbling narrative. I spend a great deal of time writing, observing, and pushing every facet of my making to its limits, learning as much as I can, using humour and sadness to dispel my own self in the process.
Being a proud second generation immigrant of Palestinian and Filipino heritage, I find my own cultural narrative has subconsciously identified itself through my making.
