Artist profile

Cailyn Forrest (b.1999) is an emerging artist, living and working on Gadigal Land. Currently in the final year of her Doctorate of Fine Arts from the National Art School, Cailyn’s practice and research focuses on analogue and alternative photographic processes. She uses these traditions as a way to explore the relationship between her body and the material labour of image production, looking to the darkroom as a site of introspection and performativity.
