'Random Scrubs' is an experimental work using sand paper and scrubbed objects to create randomly generated works. These paper strips are collected to create small works or for larger - expansive installation pieces.

Artist profile

Constantine Nicholas holds a Bachelor of Fine Art (visual) from Australian National University and a Graduate Diploma of Professional Art studies, CoFA, UNSW. He has held over 30 solo exhibitions and 50 group exhibitions. His works have been exhibited nationally and internationally and can be found in notable art collections including the Art Gallery of Western Australia, Australian National University, Artbank, BHP Billiton, Allens Arthur Robinson, and Kerry Stokes Collection. Many of his works have been selected for major art prizes including the Moet & Chandon Prize touring exhibition and the Sulman Art Prize. His awards include the Australia Council's, New York SoHo studio residency and the Gunnery Studio in Sydney. His works are held by private collectors, globally.
