Advancing and Receding Red pigments on 640gsm Arches Watercolour Paper

Gol Gol Layer Colour Observation #9 is an examination of coloured pigments, advancing and receding reds through experimental installations of wet and dry state colour. These observational studies began in response to the unique Lake Mungo, in southwestern NSW, where I experienced a 100,000-year-old red colour exposed in the deepest geological layer.
