This is one of a series of paintings that reference the Pacific and the Polynesian aesthetic reflected in painting, design and tapa cloth work from Aotearoa New Zealand and other Polynesian islands.

Artist profile

I have exhibited in New Zealand and Australia since the 1980s. My work covers a range of mediums and themes but is mostly concerned with aspects of living in both countries, from personal history and experiences to broader political issues like the treatment of migrants.
