‘Swim with the Fishes’ relates to the ideas of philosopher Michel Serres, who talks about the importance of acknowledging our commonalities with other living beings rather than seeing ourselves as fundamentally different from them.

Artist profile

I have held over 50 solo exhibitions of photography, painting drawing and printmaking. My work is in many public collections including in Australia, the Art Gallery of NSW and the National Gallery of Australia, and in New Zealand, Victoria University, Otago University and the Dunedin Public Art Gallery.
