Playtime 2023-4 acrylic and regulating buttons on timber.
This piece reflects my ongoing engagement with music, utilising compositional aspects and sometimes actual instrument parts such as these green regulating buttons. Playtime references the piano and the temporal aspects the performer engages with.

Artist profile

Bodey's painting practice brings together the shared language of abstraction in both music and painting. She explores these shared qualities, coming together in her works to create new compositions inspired by contemporary classical music and visual abstraction.
