“Insomnia” is an immersive video art installation with experimental sound, about insomnia and the connection with the subconscious. It explores different emotions associated with insomnia: hyperawareness, drifting in and out of slumber, mental turmoil, the mind ruminating, anxiety, irritability, and abstract thought. It presents these emotions in an abstract way.

Artist profile

I’m an experimental artist based in Wollongong. I’m interested in creating film, sound, analogue & digital photography, directing, poetry and fine arts. I like working with concepts about the human mind, spirituality, emotions and life experiences. Previously I’ve exhibited my work at Raw Artists, Illawarra Youth Arts Project, Project Contemporary Artspace, Art Arena Gallery and Red Point Artists Association.
