‘Only one draft’ – A brush with mortality focuses the mind on our vulnerability. It makes you realise that, unlike writers who make drafts of their work with markups and changes before the final, our human life is basically one continuous draft. We carry all the changes, markups, deletions within us.

Artist profile

While I chose architecture as a career I have continued painting, drawing and exhibiting in Sydney through my adult life. I have since moved to Bellingen and have exhibited locally as well as at NERAM Armidale, Gallery Lane Cove, Red Gallery Fitzroy North Melbourne and Anomyne Zeichner (Anonymous Drawings)’ International Exhibition Berlin.
