The video shows a collection of chair photos I took randomly over some time while walking in the streets. In some constellations the empty chairs had taken on communications with each other without their occupants, others looked utterly dejected. I felt I needed to elevate them from their shadowy existence by ‘exposure to the rays of the sun’, a definition for the process of solarisation, metaphorically.
