Acrylic on paper, 1.50m H. x. 1.40m W, made up of twenty individual paintings each 380mm H x 280mm W, 2024
The work is made up of twenty small acrylic paintings. Each painting is unique but similar to the other individual works, which make up the whole. All the works were painted in the same colours, Payne's grey and white.
The work is making reference to the formation of our earth and how the earth formed and changed over a long period of time. The rhythmical lines connecting each of the works, is referring to the forces which formed our planet and continue to influence our planet and all living things.
