Hand built fabric and wax vessels placed on sheets of rusted paper. The paper curves down from the wall and lies on a table with vessels standing on top of it.
Australia is a world leader in species extinction. The spirit vessels celebrate the uniqueness of each lost species.
Anthea Boesenberg, Rhonda Nelson and Anna Russell collaborate as Studio29B. We have shared a studio for 8 years, maintaining our own practices and also exhibiting together.
