Through playful context manipulation of the term 'Gold Digger,' this artwork transforms the humble digger into a lustrous golden object. The work aims to critique the interconnected relationship between human activities, environmental degradation, and the insatiable pursuit of wealth by Australia's mining industries.

Artist profile

The thematic core of my work is deeply rooted in social and cultural issues. By infusing humour through playful context manipulation of imagery and wordplay, the work provocatively transforms, distorts, and subverts everyday objects to critique societal constructs of identity, gender, class, consumerism, and environmental concerns.
