Deep blue light waxes and wanes with the passing of the day, and movement of the sun across the surface of an irregular piece of stained glass. The glassnestles into an alcove, taking on the its proportions and materiality in such a way as to suggest that it might always have been there.
Sue Callanan creates sculptural installations and objects which are responsive to their site- the architecture and its surrounds, including the social function or historical context of the space.
