Beyond Repetition, is constructed from strips of recycled denim textile woven through a repurposed metal grid. The artwork points to the repetition of waste production within the fast fashion industry and the cascading and entangled impact of this wastage.
Beyond Repetition is a tribute to Factory 49 and the opportunities it gave me to show experimental work and evolving concepts.

Artist profile

I assemble materials, often recycled and repurposed to create art that depicts, reveals, suggests and provokes.
My practice has evolved into one which highlights the need for our throwaway economy to be transformed into one where waste is eliminated, resources are circulated and nature is regenerated.
