Return - Gum Leaf and Lace Destination Board (2025) explores the relationship between journey and process. Leaves can signify new growth and the flow of time in the long term, just as our travels can be routine or life changing.

The audience is encouraged to turn the destination blocks as they please, changing the work throughout the exhibition. Each of the 12 blocks has 4 sides, meaning that there are over 16,000,000 possible combinations of images.

Artist profile

I am an emerging artist whose practice spans installation, sculpture and Sound Art performance. My work explores the intersections between my Filipino, English and Australian cultural experiences. Symbolic references to the Australian landscape, suburbia, ritual and traditional objects are included in my work. I am an advocate and enthusiast of art in Penrith NSW and Western Sydney.
