Intermezzo was conceived for this project. In this work the line between representation and abstraction is indeterminate. While it refers to the concept of a rhizome, it is also an object in its own right. The painting is both figure and ground, painting as sculpture. The entire focus can be on the geometric shapes which interact and play rhythmic games with colour and space within the painting.
Dice, an earlier work refers to the randomness of the throw of a dice along with a multiplicity of narratives including that of a rhizome.
