The conceptual possibilities of colour in art are boundless. EVERY COLOUR exhibition explores colour and its potential, presenting works by artists whose practices revolve around colour as a fundamental and integral component. EVERY COLOUR celebrates the diversity and complexity inherent in the chromatic spectrum. EVERY COLOUR exhibition invites viewers into a world where colour is not just a visual phenomenon but a conceptual and transformative element central to artistic expression.

Gilles Deleuze and Félix Guattari once suggested - "We require just a little order to protect us from chaos." In the realm of art, colour serves as both the agent of order and the catalyst for exploration, a dynamic force that transcends visual perception.
Colour communicates without words and defies linguistic limitations. It exists beyond the constraints of language, asserting its presence as physical phenomena deeply embedded in of how we understand the world around us.

At the heart of this exhibition lies a commitment to inclusivity and plurality. By showcasing artworks that span the entire range of colours, from monochromatic explorations to polychromatic explosions, this curatorial approach embraces the myriad meanings and interpretations that colour can evoke. Colour shapes our everyday experiences and perceptions of the world. It transcends its physical properties to become a vehicle for emotional expression, intellectual discourse and aesthetic contemplation.

Historical attempts to systematize colour have ranged from scientific categorizations to idealistic theories, yet colour consistently defies confinement. In the early 20th century for artists like Kazimir Malevich and Aleksander Rodchenko, colour became not just a visual element but a philosophical inquiry, a means to challenge traditional aesthetics and redefine the boundaries of artistic expression.

In EVERY COLOUR exhibition viewers are encouraged to explore colour beyond its aesthetic appeal. Colour becomes a dynamic force that interacts with form, texture, and context to create meaning and provoke thought. Colour's ability to stimulate emotions, prompt reflections, and convey narratives underscores its profound impact on the human experience.

Ultimately, EVERY COLUR celebrates colour not just as a visual experience but as a fundamental element that animates artistic practice and enriches human understanding. By immersing ourselves in this spectrum of chromatic possibilities, we embrace the diversity of perspectives and interpretations that colour offers. It is a reminder that in art, as in life, we find meaning, beauty, and transformative potential of colours that surround us. Through EVERY COLUR we are invited to contemplate the unseen forces and energies that colour embodies - the tensions between order and chaos, form and formlessness, visibility and invisibility. It is within these tensions that art finds its vitality and relevance, offering us glimpses into realms of sensation and experience that defy simple explanation.

EVERY COLOUR encourages us to embrace the complexity of colour, to revel in its multifaceted nature, and to recognize its role as a fundamental element of human expression. As we navigate the exhibition, we are reminded that in our quest for order and understanding, colour offers us a profound and enduring source of inspiration and contemplation, a force that enriches our lives and connects us to the boundless creativity of the artistic spirit.
